2005 ACTION PLAN
The Greater Seymour Chamber of
Commerce is a non-profit corporation solely supported by
its members. It also has a 501(c)(3) affiliated
Foundation to make use of available grant opportunities
to achieve its mission. The Chamber’s Mission Statement
states that we are “To serve as the catalyst for the
advancement of commerce, culture and the community.” To
accomplish this mission our Chamber is divided into
three divisions with two standing committees and a task
force in each division.

Breakfast and Ag-Industry Tour

Relations Committee: Hosts twice a month, noon, summer
picnics, golf outing and One Chamber Square Christmas

Month, Adopt-a-Spots, Hoosier Native Tree Park

Recycling/Environmental Committee: 100 mile
Ride-to-Recycle bicycle ride, recycling containers in
all Seymour school classrooms.

Force: Supports Southern Indiana Center for the Arts
